1. Public meeting regarding a joint Franklin-Southampton application to the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development for a planning grant to:
a) Evaluate the feasibility of interconnecting city and county water and wastewater systems, including cost estimates for any operational impacts and for any required capital improvements to interconnect the systems;
b) Evaluate any financial and service impactsof an interconnected system including the impact on rates for our respective utility customers, and the amounts of any financial subsidies that may be required from sources other than customer fees.
c) Develop an Implementation Plan identifying the steps and sequence of events necessary to interconnect the systems; and
d) Evaluation potential options for governance.
2. Discussion of potential of County properties for use as an animal pound with County Administrator Michael Johnson.
4. Revised stormwater management regulations.
