What
Our Office Does
The
Southampton County Attorney's Office advises and represents
the Board of Supervisors, the County Manager, County Boards,
commissions, agencies and employees in civil matters involving
the County.
The
County Attorney's Office also prosecutes violations of
the Southampton County Code in such matters as inoperative
motor vehicles, trash and litter, weeds and grass, zoning
violations and Building Code violations. Other criminal
prosecutions are handled by the Commonwealth Attorney's
Office.
