The
BNRP annual Clean Rivers Day (CRD) will be held
on April 21st this year.
CRD is held yearly to get youth and adults involved
with helping keep our rivers and streams cleaner.
Groups or individuals can pick a spot or call me
to be assigned a spot. Fishermen and boaters usually
participate by selecting a section of river to clean-up
by boat. I have some litter-getters and trash bags
if needed. Get in touch with me at 562-5173 for
details. Anyone can help and you certainly do not
have to have a boat or get in the swamp to participate.
You can help keep trash out of the watershed by
simply getting the trash out of the ditch in front
of your house. Any help is appreciated. Get yourself
or your group involved in keeping our environment
healthy. You will feel better and so will the enviroment.
