Mission Statement

The members of the Southampton County Sheriff's Office are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life by maintaining order, protecting life and property, and reducing the fear of crime. We will strive at all times to provide peace and security to all residents of Southampton County and the City of Franklin. We will fairly and impartially enforce all the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the County of Southampton and uphold the Constitution of the United States. We will provide quality service to our citizens and community through honor, professionalism and commitment to community oriented policing values.
