A total of 100 child ID kits were prepared at the Child Abuse Prevention
Fair on Saturday at Food Lion, Courtland. Children were entertained by
3-A's Inflatables, Rhythm Sensation Cloggers, Grazin' Acres Therapeutic Riding Center, and Bubbles the Clown.
Courtland Vol. Fire Dept. and Rescue Squad were on hand to help kids become familiar with their services and to help them understand that when they hear the siren, it means that they are helping someone in need.
Plenty of games and prizes kept everyone entertained and smiling. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make this day a success. Without your help and enthusiasm, this event would not have been possible. Special thanks go out to the Key Club of Southampton High School and Rhythm Sensation Cloggers for continuing to make this one their annual projects.
